(15 May 2018) - In an interview for the Catalonian Association for Rural Initiatives (ARCA), Yves Champetier (AEIDL), an expert for the European Network for Rural Development (ENRD) and the European Fisheries Areas Network (FARNET), talks about the future of the LEADER approach and the challenges facing rural areas.

Yves Champetier participated last September at the ‘Cooperar por un medio rural vivo’ conference, organised by ARCA, the network of the 11 Local Action Groups of Catalonia.

In an interview that was recently published on the ARCA website, Yves says that “LEADER can be a tool (…) for contributing to the revitalisation of democracy and for making Europe more inclusive and cohesive”.
