Accession opens door fully to Croatia LIFE
(06 November 2013) - On 1 July 2013, Croatia became the 28th Member State of the European Union. The accession means Croatia-based environmental and nature conservation projects are now fully eligible for LIFE+ programme co-funding.
FARNET Magazine n°9: Linking fisheries to the tourism economy
(29 October 2013) - The 9th edition of the FARNET Magazine, coproduced by AEIDL within the DevNet EEIG, shows how the Fisheries Local Action Groups (FLAGs) can successfully link fisheries to the tourism economy. The strategy is analyzed in several articles and illustrated by three reports, in Sardinia, Catalonia and Finnish Lapland.

(17 October 2013) - RurEval, a European economic interest grouping (EEIG) which includes AEIDL, is looking for experts in the field of rural development and agriculture.
Two new LIFE publications
(02 July 2013) – Two new LIFE Focus publications have just been published. One highlights the relevance of LIFE Environment actions in helping to create durable jobs and develop green skills, while the other shows the role of LIFE Nature funding in helping to conserve Europe’s endangered large carnivores (brown bear, wolf, Eurasian lynx), by addressing actual and potential conflicts with people living in areas where these species are present.
Study on urban development at the European Parliament
(08 March 2013) - The URBAN Intergroup at the European Parliament has asked for the European Commission's study, 'Urban development in the EU', done by AEIDL, to be presented at their meeting in Strasbourg on 14 March, then again in Brussels to a larger audience.
