Fictional texts, testimonies and original drawings from 34 designers and writers have been gathered in a book about the reception of migrants.
(08 December 2015) - The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and Editions Points have joined forces to publish a paperback book, 'Bienvenue! 34 auteurs pour les réfugiés' (Welcome! 34 Authors for Refugees). The book brings together writers and cartoonists, who each in their own way have captured the theme of refugee exile , combining testimony and poignant voices.
The book, which is published by Editions Points, is available for 5 euros. It includes fictional work, drawings and testimonials "to spread a message of tolerance and openness as widely as possible," the publisher says. All profits will be donated to UNHCR.
As well as buying the book, you can make a direct contribution to the donation campaign that is providing sleeping bags, mattresses, rescue kits and tents.
