Helle Breindahl

Senior CLLD Expert

Helle Breindahl (DK) holds a BA degree in Philosophy and Political Theory and a masters degree in philosophy (2009). Since 2011 she has been working on fields relevant to Territorial Development at the local level with focus on rural development, coastal areas development and Community Led Local Development. She has been working both as freelancer and as Local Action Group manager (for rural and coastal areas sustainable development) in Djursland, Denmark. Her duties included strategy formulation, project selection, monitoring and evaluation and programme management.

She has a lot of experience working with local, regional and national authorities and stakeholders. She has also been involved in various experts networks as thematic or geographic expert, for example for FAME and FARNET at DG MARE and the ENRD at DG AGRI. Since 2023 she has worked as a senior CLLD expert at FAMENET, a project that supports stakeholders in the implementation of the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) and European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF). She also is a certified business coach (2017), and a certified group facilitator (2019). Last but not least she is a native Danish speaker with excellent English skills. 

In AEIDL she works as an expert in the FAMENET project.
