Blanca Casares holds a Bachelor degree in Environmental Sciences and a Master’s degree in Territorial Rural Development.
Blanca started her career in 2011 at the Spanish Ministry of Environment, Rural and Marine. Her expertise includes rural development, agriculture and food systems in the EU, and European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) mainly EARDF and its evaluation. She brings a strong and flexible analysis and evaluation background complemented with project, information and expert management competences. Blanca has experience of working with a wide range of public, academic and private stakeholders.
In 2020, Blanca joined the AEIDL team, where she works as a Policy Expert and Project Manager in H202 and Horizon Europe projects oriented to rural development, agriculture, sustainable food systems and women (BEATLES, TOOLS4CAP, GRASS Ceiling and MOVING). She speaks Spanish (native language), English, Portuguese and French.
