Julen Leturiondo

Junior Communication Officer

Julen Leturiondo is a trainee on the Basque Government’s Global Training programme. He graduated in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Mondragon in 2022. During his studies, he worked as a content creator for an audiovisual production company. After graduating, he soon started working for Naiz Irratia, a radio station in the Basque Country, as a scriptwriter for some programmes and as a presenter and director of one of them. At the same time as the university, he studied professional music studies and was awarded different programmes and scholarships for musical development such as Kutxa Kultur Musika or VillaSound Bilbao. In addition to this passion, he also has a passion for teaching, which is why he qualified as a free-time instructor and has been doing this every summer for the last four years at the Rock Camp in Soria, Spain.

He did his Erasmus stay in Ghent in the academic year 2020-2021 and did the course Cultural Encounters: The Big Climate Movement 2020 in which he was educated and raised awareness of the cause.

In AEIDL, Julen is mainly in charge of the association’s corporate communication and also provides communication support for projects such as ELIF, SRPP or C4C. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Basque, and and has an intermediate level (B1) of French.
