Veneta Paneva

Communication Officer

Veneta is a full-time employee of AEIDL, working as a Communication Officer on the Rural Pact Support Office project.

Throughout her 13 years of experience in communications, Veneta has specialised in digital communications and communication strategy conception, implementation, and monitoring.

Veneta has worked for a range of EU institutions, agencies, programmes, and projects, including URBACT, the European Urban Initiative, European Network of Public Employment Services, the Smart Rural 21 and 27 projects, the European Network for Rural Development (ENRD) Contact Point, to name a few. Topics have ranged from rural to urban development, and from employment to research and innovation.

Veneta is skilled in website developments and updates in various content management systems, as well as in monitoring tools for websites, newsletters and social media. She has extensive experience with analysing digital media performance and making recommendations for improvement.

Throughout her roles, she has produced copy in English for various communication channels. Veneta has solid experience with coordinating tasks, processes and teams around web design and development, and publications production. She is also proficient in the use of graphic design and video-editing software. 

Veneta holds degrees in Journalism, European Studies, and EU International Relations. She is a native Bulgarian speaker with excellent English-language skills. She also speaks French to a professional working standard. 

Roles and responsibilities within AEIDL

As the Communication Officer of the Rural Pact Support Office, Veneta is responsible for the project’s communication strategy implementation and monitoring, including website, publications, social media, and other communication outputs such as good practices and event materials.
