Catia Segnini lives and works in Grosseto, Italy (Tuscany Region). Since 1995 she has started her business as a Chartered Accountant and Statutory Auditor, offering consultancy and technical assistance in business development, promotion and development of innovation strategies. She is auditor and certifier of expenses on programs implemented by NUTS2 and NUTS 3.
Catia works mainly with public bodies, companies (including non-profit companies) and provides support to research and development projects, has worked on many local and European programs such as Culture 2000, LEADER, European Year of Sport, INTERREG, LIFE, URBAN, TACIS and the European Neighborhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI) (ENPI CIUDAD).
She has a degree in Political Science (University of Pisa, 1987), with particular regard to the History of International Relations, and some postgraduate specialist Masters. She also attended highly specialised courses at the University of Pisa, Bologna and the Bocconi University of Milan.
She worked for UNDP and USAID in Moldova and Lebanon. She is the Technical Director of a FLAG (Fishery Local Action group).
