Our Senior Expert, on Rural and Territorial Development Dr. Serafin Pazos-Vidal has been fortunate enough to be the author of two chapters, one discussing the legal foundations of EU Cohesion Policy, and another, forward looking one taking stock of he present direction of the policy and looking at the future of Cohesion Policy.

This launch happens just at the moment where the post 2027 Cohesion policy is already in drafting stages, with the results of the High Level Group on Cohesion Policy  and the 9th Cohesion Report is about to be released and the Belgian Council Presidency hosting an ministerial meeting on this very topic Mons.

To chart out the future direction of the policy the European Commission´s DG REGIO, DG AGRI, DG EMPL, DG MARE and DG HOME hosted the Plenary of the European Community of Practice on Partnership (ECoPP), where Serafin was also asked to lead a Task Force to look about how partnership works in practice.
