(28 October 2014) – The European Commission has signed a framework contract with NEEMO EEIG, which includes AEIDL, for services related to monitoring and communications for the new LIFE programme (2014-2020).
NEEMO includes nine partner organisations in all (AEIDL, ELLE sia, HTSPE Ltd, IDOM, Institute of Landscape Ecology (ILE), Oréade-Brèche, Particip GmbH, Prospect C&S s.a. and Timesis srl), as well as four subcontractors (Ecologic, Ernst & Young in Madrid and Prague, Technopolis and IMC).
The new LIFE programme covers the fields of the environment, nature and biodiversity, and climate action.
AEIDL’s tasks will continue to focus on communications, including: updating and developing the existing LIFE website; creating, updating, and finalising project summaries; the production of compilations of new projects and press releases (PR); the production of best project brochures and related promotional activities; the production of a digital newsletter; the production of thematic brochures; thematic dissemination; updating and developing country overviews; the production of publications on NGOs selected for LIFE financial support; managing communications outputs produced by the projects; the evaluation of communication tasks; and developing the use of social media.
The workload for AEIDL will involve 14 full-time equivalent jobs.
