In this AEIDL Talks, Blanca Casares will discuss the challenges faced by women in rural areas and their predefined roles. She will reflect on the many roles women have in rural communities and their broad capacity for innovation, bringing forward the voice of some rural women.

Blanca Casares holds a degree in Environmental Sciences and a Master’s degree in Territorial Rural Development. Blanca started her career in 2011 at the Spanish Ministry of Environment and Rural and Marine. Her expertise includes territorial and rural development, agriculture, cultural landscapes and food systems.
