(03 April 2020) – Wishing to share local initiatives in the fight against coronavirus, the French government has turned to Carrefour des innovations sociales, a platform in which AEIDL participates.

To address the epidemic and the consequences of containment, the French government is relying on the development of voluntary work and the capacity of individual territories to initiate actions.
Looking to share local initiatives and promote the action of mayors and locally elected representatives, the cabinet of Jacqueline Gourault, Minister for Territorial Cohesion and Relations with Local Authorities, has sought to utilise the Carrefour des Innovations sociales platform.
In just a few hours, Carrefour was able to adapt the functionalities of its site and search engine to the needs of efforts to mitigate impact of Covid-19. The Carrefour platform is now the operational tool of the French government’s #Territoires engagés campaign.
You can now use this form to promote your own initiatives to combat the crisis.
