(04 April 2016) – A recent report published by the Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE), gives an overview of existing and planned health related investment possibilities in the European Union.

The report, ‘The Mapping of the use of European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) in health in 2014-2020’, presents the envisaged investments in health-related areas that have been planned for implementation in the 2014-2020 programming period with the support of European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF).
It also contains the inventory of investments in health in all European Union Member States1 realized with the support of European Structural Funds (SF) in the 2007-2013 programming period.
Chapter one presents a summary overview of the use of structural funds in 2014-2020 and 2007-2013 programming periods.
Chapter two contains individual separate country fact sheets with more detailed information about the planned and past health investments.
