(23 April 2015) – DG Employment, Social Affairs & Inclusion recently published the results of a Eurobarometer survey in seven EU countries on expenditures that households in hardship are curtailing first.
As part of a package on “Coping with the crisis”, this qualitative Eurobarometer survey explores how households are coping with the economic crisis, in particular those who have been worst affected and those who have been made unemployed or are unable to find work.
Fieldwork consisted of a series of focus groups conducted in seven EU Member States: France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Portugal, Romania and Spain.
