(26 October 2020) – New CLLD country profiles have been published by LDnet, an informal network set up in 2011 to bring together knowledge and people in local development.
A new LDnet initiative aims to present in a systematic and succinct way how local development is implemented in different EU member states.
The intention is to develop a basic “country profile” of each EU member state explaining its specific approach to “Community-Led Local Development” (CLLD), based on a standard template facilitating cross-country comparisons, and complemented, where possible, with information about other local development initiatives in those countries.
Currently one can access full profiles of Austria, Czechia, Portugal and Sweden. Further profiles (including Italy, Poland and Estonia) are in preparation. LDnet invites experts and practitioners to contribute to the initiative.
