Supporting social entrepreneurs on their journey towards resilience (Brussels, 29 June)

Jun 14, 2017 | News

(14 June 2017) – The closing event of the Erasmus+ SIRCle project will be held on June 29th in Brussels. It is now time to share publicly stories and findings, and the inspiration gathered from over 200 social entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs who took part in the 12 Evoneers’ Journey Pilot training programmes in six EU countries.

SIRCle

The Social Innovation for Resilient Communities (SIRCle) project uses adult education and a training curriculum known as ‘The Evoneers’ Journey’ to address one of the most pressing needs of our time, namely to combine our commitment to the wellbeing of the planet and to a more sustainable society with our ability to be financially sustainable.

This seminar aims to showcase the achievements of the project, share participants’ experiences with the methodology with a broader audience and engage in a dialogue with European policy makers. It also offers the possibility for a hands-on experiential session around the Journey for aspiring or established social entrepreneurs.

This event is organised with the support of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) following the European Day on Social Economy Entreprises, held on 28th June.
