(14 July 2015) – The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion (DG EMPL) has contracted AEIDL to provide technical assistance to the EU-level platform dedicated to transnational cooperation under the European Social Fund (ESF).
The main purpose of transnational cooperation between Member States under the ESF is to stimulate the exchange and sharing of information and good practice, to set up transnational projects between beneficiaries and to bring together administrations, social partners, NGOs and other stakeholders in the field of employment, social inclusion and training.
The subject of the contract with AEIDL is to establish an EU-level platform in order to facilitate the setting up of transnational partnerships, the exchange of experiences, capacity building and networking, and to disseminate and maximise the impact of relevant outcomes.
More specifically, AEIDL’s technical support will concern:
- Animating transnational networks through thematic seminars and conferences
- Setting up a database allowing ESF beneficiaries to find partners for transnational cooperation projects
- Contributing significantly to the visibility of transnational cooperation under the ESF (web pages, newsletter, publications, good practices)
