URBACT III: Open calls for networks

Mar 31, 2015 | News

(31 March 2015) – URBACT networks are approved through competitive calls for proposals. For 2014-2020, different calls for proposals for the 3 types of networks will be launched. The first call for proposals for the creation of up to 20 Action Planning Networks is now open.

URBACT is the interregional cooperation programme on urban development under the ERDF-funded European Territorial Cooperation Objective (ETC).

The main objective of Action Planning Networks is to strengthen the ability of European cities to design integrated strategies for sustainable urban development. By taking part in an Action Planning Network, cities exchange and share experiences, problems and possible solutions, generating new ideas to address challenges related to sustainable urban development.

The application procedure is outlined in the call for proposals. Applicants shall create and submit their applications in English through the online platform SYNERGIE-CTE. The online platform will be available by the end of April 2015.

Deadline for online submission of applications is 16 June 2015.
