(30 May 2018) – Published on behalf of the European Commission by the ESF Transnational Platform (coordinated by AEIDL), a new dossier explains the ‘co-trends’.

Have you ever wondered what co-production, co-creation, co-design, co-responsibility and co-construction are, and what part they play in improving policy design and service delivery? Are they partnership with an added production dimension? The Partnership Thematic Network of the ESF Transnational Platform asked the same question – and its expert Leda Stott has now provided the answer.
The new Technical Dossier “Co-production – enhancing the role of citizens in governance and service delivery” distinguishes these vogue concepts and tabulates their common characteristics. It then gives examples of ‘co-action’ in practice, from the themes of inclusion, migrants, social economy, governance and skills.
The dossier concludes with lessons and recommendations.
