Tools4CAP

Innovative Toolbox empowering effective CAP governance towards EU ambitions

TOOLS4CAP is a Horizon Europe project (2023-2026) coordinated by Ecorys, gathering 17 partner organisations, that aims to support the implementation of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP)´s National Strategic Plans 2023-2027 and lay the foundations for sound preparation of Post-2027 Strategic Plans.

AEIDL is the leader of the work package on Capacity building hub: Participation, Communication and Exploitation. The aim is to provide platforms for knowledge exchange, co-creation, capacity building and stakeholder engagement, to communicate and disseminate the project’s goals and results and, ultimately, guarantee their successful exploitation by those engaged in the SP process.

The project will rely on the Tools4CAP Academy, coordinated by AEIDL in close collaboration with other partners, based on a series of EU-level workshops, to disseminate, showcase, and train end users in how to best choose and operationalise innovative solutions and good practices.

The activities proposed for the Academy are designed to provide a framework for capacity building and peer-learning to develop an attractive and tailored training programme composed of 10 modules to meet the end users’ needs.

The Academy aims to disseminate and exploit the research results of the project with the end-users giving special emphasis to the inventory of tools and good practices (WP1); the identification of tools and methodological guidelines (WP2-WP4); and the lessons from the case studies (WP5).
